How Temporary Media passes work
Section V no longer issues School Media passes. We follow the NYSPHSAA approach: a team photographer or videographer is an extension of the team roster.
The host school credentials a team photographer or videographer the same way it would for any regular-season game. No request is needed here.
The school's athletic director submits the request for an eligible event listed below.
Section V reviews every request. Requests close 24 hours before the event starts.
Once approved, the named person picks up their Temporary Media pass at the event's ticketing area with a photo ID.
Each pass is printed for one event, is not transferable and is not valid at any other Section V event.
